Lexington, KY – Luther Deaton,Jr. chairman, president & CEO of Central Bank, has been nominated to serve as the treasurer of the American Bankers Association. The American Bankers Association’s Nominating Committee has selected the official slate of candidates for ABA officers for election at the association’s annual convention to be held in New York, October 21-23.
In addition to Mr. Deaton, the nominating committee has named Jeffrey M. Szyperski for chairman, Laurie L. Stewart for chairman-elect and James J. Edwards for vice chairman.
